Background

I began my training to become a professional chef in the early 1980’s at Vancouver Community College and Dubruille culinary Institute, followed by training at the CIA in Napa Valley. Followed by continuous training opportunities all around the world since helped to grow my passion and knowledge of food.

After schooling I began training at The Cannery and Boathouse restaurants both based in Vancouver, Canada. From the apprentice training and experience I gained at these restaurants I was ready to quickly rise through the Spectra Group of Great Restaurants in Vancouver, B.C. I was in involved in the opening of eight restaurants and was promoted to Executive Chef. Recently I have been a chef consultant for many restaurant groups in British Columbia and Alberta my client have included:
